Responsibilities and Powers of the Partnership

The Partnership is responsible for creating, supporting and promoting childcare services to families in Moray. This is in accordance with the guidelines set out by the Scottish Government. Needs are detailed in the Moray Childcare Action Plans which set out the objectives and targets for childcare for the next three years. The Partnership is charged with the effective implementation of these plans. Moray Childcare Partnership has delegated authority from Moray Council in relation to the following:

1. Future development of services within the Moray area.
2. Allocation of budget as recommended by sub committees and agreed by the full Partnership meeting.
